Infrastructure and energy
We offer a complete range of legal assistance for companies operating in the energy sector and those involved in infrastructure projects.
We have gained special experience in advising construction and electric power engineering companies, public utilities / water supply and sewage treatment projects.
Our attorneys have advised on, among other things, the largest domestic tendering procedures and negotiations concerning construction of new gas and steam units in Polish heat and power stations (Gorzów, Bydgoszcz, Katowice, Pomorzany), modernisation of the energy infrastructure such as completion on a ‘turn key’ basis of a gas desulphurisation plant along with ancillary installations for units 4, 5 and 6 running on lignite fuel in the Turów power plant (worth about PLN 0.6 billion), projects involving construction of sewage treatment facilities, biodigesters and wind farms.
Using our expert knowledge and experience, we:
- help prepare legal analyses and strategies for participation in infrastructure and energy engineering projects run under public procurement contracts, public-private partnerships (PPP), or as concessions;
- participate in negotiating complex contracts involving building services, supplies or works, including those based on the FIDIC or VOB procedures;
- prepare advanced tendering procedures for complex infrastructure and energy engineering projects.
We think highly of Robert Siwik on account of his expert knowledge of public procurement law issues and his experience in handling appeals proceedings at the National Chamber of Appeals. Based on our cooperation to-date, we have full confidence in the law firm and wish to recommend it to anyone who cares about quality service and a creative approach, and who seeks expert knowledge of public procurement law issues.
